Reston, VA
Big Spring Sale! Friends of the Reston Regional Library 11925 Bowman Towne Drive Reston, VA 20190

 |
April 30 - May 4
- Friends of the Reston Regional Library Big Spring Sale
- New to our big sale? This is our largest one, typically held twice a year at Reston Regional Library
- We offer 35,000 items, in over 20 categories
- There are NO children's books at these sales. Teens and adults are welcome, but we recommend small kids take a pass on this one; it's quite big, there are books under the tables, and shoppers set aside large bags and baskets in a lot of the small spaces.
- Wednesday, April 30
- 10am to 5pm Open Lobby Preview Sale: Limited sections, all may shop
- 1pm to 5pm Big Room Preview Sale. Friends Members Only ($15 per person to join): History, Fiction, CDs and DVDs
- Thursday, May 1, 10am - 5pm
- Friday, May 2, 10am - 5pm
- Saturday, May 3, 10am - 5pm
- Sunday, May 4, 10am - 3pm
- ???????It's happened again! We thought last Spring would be our biggest sale ever --- and it was. Until now! Somehow we've ended up with more donations than ever. We've got a huge selection of books this spring and we need your help to sell them. The more you buy, the more we can put out on the tables, the more you can buy, the more we can put out.... You get the idea. This year's selection includes more best selling fiction, our famous mini-mile of cookbooks, as well as some uncommon history books from private collections. Please help us clear the tables and support the library and literacy in our community. We restock every day! Shop local and shop often!
- *There are NO children's books at this sale!*
- We pull some books for selling online during the year. During the sales, we close most of the online selling and bring those books back to the Big Sales at a discounted price.Sale ALSO includes some higher value items that can't be sold online!
- In some areas, including Charly's Corner, scanners or any other electronic price checking tools are not allowed.
- A book off the table is considered SOLD. Shoppers may not take a pile elsewhere to 'review' before deciding.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities.
- For safety's sake, and the sanity of our volunteers, if book stacks are piling up, we may require patrons to checkout and take those books to their cars then come back to shop some more.
- Questions? Send an email to RestonFriendsPR@gmail.com
